REVIEWS
“God Is My Second Husband is a book that I can truly relate to. It really hit home right in the introduction when it talked about searching for relief from pain. Chapter 5 is my favorite “God is Your Redeemer.” It reminded me of how much God loves me and paid a price for me through the blood of Jesus. I love the quote of Psalms 130:1-7 that tells us to put our hope in the Lord for with the Lord is unfailing love. This book speaks a lot about God’s unfailing love for us and putting our trust in him because he will never leave nor forsake us. Chapter 8 is another chapter that encouraged me. It talked about accepting every part of myself the way that God made me and intended for me to be. The last chapter reminded me of how I am made perfect in his eyes as a diamond. This book was very encouraging and empowering for me. I plan to make God my husband before considering another one.”—A. Banks (in single-parent program)
